ASSIGNMENT 1

ELECTION

For this assignment, we have to collect votes from students to win the election and if we win, we get to design Assignment 2. We called our group ROJAK because we are all from different course and did not really know each other. Chermayne and I are from FNBE, while Livia, Vanessa, Han Ling, Yvonne, Soffea, Kelly, Le Jye, Jin Yee and Darryl are from FIA, and also Philip from FIS.

CTS: Project

Our team flag is a bowl of rojak with ingredients that represent each of us. I am the squid with panda skin. This is to show how different we are but we can still work well as a team.

Our philosophy:

-Just like a bowl of rojak, we believe that every person is a piece in a puzzle called society. We want to break stereotypes and stigmas because we should not judge a book by its cover. We do not want individuals to be silenced and their ideas wasted just because they do not fit the society's definition of 'normal'. Our goal is to make sure that everybody has equal chance to morally express themselves for who they label themselves to be, not what society labelled them to be, because we believed that everyone is in this world for a reason and

nobody is useless to the world.

Why vote for us?

-If we win, we wish to create an assignment where every one of us is free to express what they truly are without anyone judging in the most creative way without any rules binding them.

ASSIGNMENT 2

CREATE SOMETHING THAT REPRESENTS YOURSELF

We need to create a product using non-digital medium that represents us the most. This assignment involves 'Make' and 'Fuse' in zig zag.

So I decided to use some of my favourite food to represent me because I'm quite a picky person when it comes to food.
I printed out all these pictures, cut them and make a collage.

ASSIGNMENT 3

EVERYTHING SYNTHETIC USING NATURE IS STILL ORIGINAL AND NATURAL

The objective is to make a strong statement about how nature is being destroyed and why nature must be preserved. As a team, we were required to present our ideas based on the statement that we had chosen.

The statements are :

Statement 1 - "Everything originated from nature is original and natural."

Statement 2 : "Everything synthetic using nature is still original and natural."

In the beginning, our group chose Statement 1, but we requested to change to Statement 2 because we are using synthetic material for the t shirts.

CTS: Project

My group for Assignment 3 is called Eight For Eggs. My group members are Kay Wen, Vimal, Seanne, Chermayne, Samantha, Bong Ying, Shania and Yuk Ki. Actually our idea at first was to use natural items to decorate our shirt, but we changed from statement 1 to 2 was because we do not want to destroy any natural things. We even included a nest made of yarn since our group name is Eight For Eggs, we decided to include something related to our group name.
